How do these license types differ, and who pays?
A certified home health agency provides Medicare- and Medicaid-certified skilled visits under a doctor's plan; a licensed home care services agency provides aides and nursing paid privately or through Medicaid plans; a hospice provides Medicare-covered comfort care; and adult day health care provides a supervised medical day program.
The roster lists agencies by office address, and many serve the whole region, so ask each one about its service area. Some agencies listed here are affiliated with assisted living residences, where they provide the nursing and aide services adult home staff may not.
